I came to music at the age of 11. My Dad taught me to play piano. Started with E,G,B,D,F, and F,A,C,E,. He also happened to be the Bandmaster at the local Salvation Army. So by the time I was 13, I could also play anything made of Brass. I got a series of Keyboards and Organs from age 18 to 40 including Cheetah, TG33, Atari ST, Cubase etc. I and a friend created Fleeting Spirits a successful 60s tribute band gigging in pubs around North Yorkshire. In the mid 90s I was the Sales & Marketing Director of a large independent Music retailer in York. Since then a PSR-S970 followed by a SX900 with a Marshall & Rose Piano have taken me to new musical heights in my retirement that I could have only dreamed off back in those early years. |
